Welcome to the holiday season issue of LifeNews, a newsletter by LifePilot.

We though it very timely to dedicate this issue to Reflection and Gratitude. Aesop said, “Gratitude is the sign of noble souls.” It is noble, indeed, to be thankful as such a gesture shows humility and selflessness. We step outside our sometimes egocentric world to recognize that we cannot and do not control everything – and that what happens in our day-to-day existence is a gift. To be grateful for whatever benefits we receive enables us to remember how fortunate and blessed we really are. This habit is also a fast track to a more positive outlook.

Happy Holidays,

Peter H. Thomas and your LifePilot team

Reflection brings us closer to success. In particular, reflecting on your successes is an important aspect of learning and growing. You’ll gain the strength and confidence to inspire you to greater heights. Rather than getting caught up in the holiday stresses, try to relax and reflect on the past year. Recall all those moments that brought you happiness and that made you feel fulfilled. Think of the people that were part of those special moments, those you appreciate and those you are grateful for. The event spotlight this month shines on our very own Peter H. Thomas. He gave two LifePilot workshops plus a keynote address back to back on December 12th and 13th at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. On the first day we had some 50 military personnel of the CFB Esquimalt packed into the Hatley Castle drawing room to receive our values-based training. On day two, we presented to the Royal Roads Strategic Council and some 100 alumni and learners of Royal Roads University. This very special day was dedicated to announce the strategic alliance between Royal Roads University, Peter and LifePilot in the creation of the Todd Thomas Institute for Values-Based Leadership. Read the details here…

Our “prison” navigator, Leanne Atwater, has just completed another couple of LifePilot workshops at Buckeye Jail in Phoenix, Arizona this week. These workshops are part of our community service and Leanne volunteers her time to teach the prisoners. Leanne, you are simply the best! Thank you so much for your energy and huge heart.

2007 will bring many exciting partnerships to LifePilot that will make it possible for us to further expand our LifePilot workshops internationally. We’ll be on the road in North America with Leadership Shows and part of Campden Conferences’ Families in Business Conference in Bahrain, Vienna, Singapore, Chicago, Luzern, and New York.

And it doesn’t stop there. Ray Williams of PCMG, Vancouver and Marty Park of Evolve Business Group, Calgary will start navigating regular LifePilot workshops catered to Executives and Professionals in their respective cities.

“These days, I have complete trust that my life is unfolding exactly as it should, because I have opened up to the potential that has always existed within me and I have chosen to live by my values. I have learned to allow my Light to shine.

But things were not always this way. It was ten short months ago when[…].”

What do you want out of life? Does the path you’re on match your vision and values? Through our LifePilot programs and our LifeManual online community, we engage you in a dialogue about creating positive change and proactively living your values in accordance with your daily objectives and long-term goals.
