Welcome to our second issue of LifeNews, a newsletter by LifePilot.
During the holiday rush, remember to take time for those things in life that are most important to you - your fundamental values. Values are the proven guideposts for making right decisions. When your values are clear, your decisions are easy.
Remember that your values are very personal. It is not about what you should value, rather what you truly value.
Through the dozens of workshops I have navigated, I've noted that two of the most common values shared among our attendees are the values of family and health. So especially at this time of the year, don't let stress get in the way of what is important to you and let those individuals in your life that you appreciate know that they are important to you. Call them, send them a little card, or an email message of appreciation.
We hope you will enjoy this issue of LifeNews!

Experience Life through your Value Lens
With the holiday season fast approaching, our thoughts naturally turn to family, friends and that well-deserved work hiatus that follows the annual office party. However, many people suffer with 'holiday anxiety' and 'holiday blues' - resulting from holiday stressors and demands, unrealistic expectations, loneliness, anxiety… And then on January 1, there's the anticlimactic letdown and sabotaging critical self-evaluation. LifePilot recently completed another community service workshop at Buckeye Jail. Our LifePilot Prison Series navigator, Leanne Atwater, presented to 12 women prisoners of the Alpha program at the Maricopa County Jail in Phoenix, Arizona. We'd like to extend our thanks to Leanne, who volunteers a lot of time for these endeavors. Leanne also led our August workshop for 40 men of the Alpha program, and will conduct another workshop in December. Leanne is the Chair, Department of Management, School of Global Management and Leadership at Arizona State University.
The event spotlight also shines on Ray Williams of PCMG, Vancouver and Marty Park of Evolve Business Group, Calgary. These enthusiastic, top-notch LifePilot navigators have just recently been engaged in our LifePilot University Mentorship Series - Ray at UBC, Vancouver and Marty at UVic, Victoria.

We'd also like to note that PCMG, one of North America's leading career management and executive development companies, has just launched their first of a series of LifePilot workshops tailored for Executives and Professionals of Greater Vancouver. The next one will be held in February. Read more…

"Tracey and I are obsessed with finding ways to get more enjoyment from day-to-day living, while managing the pressures associated with securing our future and that of our children. Unfortunately, it is difficult as busy people to stand outside of ourselves and objectively draw up a set of new rules by which to live - as imperative as we know it is. LifePilot is a major step in that direction and reminded us that we are not alone.…. Too often statisticians and governments measure quality of life in terms of things or available services. Aligning core values with our daily actions as a means to eliminate inner-conflict and emotional pain is a unique school of thought and is worthy of becoming an institution.

"My purpose is to love, share my light, be a world leader, enjoy the experience of life and the journey - and to lead, educate and inspire wherever I go…. I have learned that living a life of fulfillment is more about the way we see the world than the way the world sees us."
- Peter H. Thomas
