Canadian Entrepreneur Among Six Inducted into Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization Hall of Fame, Chicago. For immediate release Vancouver, (November 2, 2007) Today, six exceptional entrepreneurs were inducted into the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in Chicago. The awards were presented by the University of Illinois at Chicago's Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO), the premier global entrepreneurship network for young entrepreneurs. Canadian entrepreneur Peter H. Thomas, best known as founder and past chairman of Century 21 Real Estate Canada Ltd., received the Lifetime Achievement Award and was among the honorees inducted into the CEO Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. By highlighting outstanding entrepreneurs, CEO recognizes excellence and encourages business leaders, students and government officials to honor the entrepreneurial spirit. Among past Hall of Fame inductees have been Jeff Taylor of Monster.com, Steve Wozniak of Apple Computer, Richard Tait of Cranium, and Myra Hart of Staples. The 2007 honorees are:
Since its inception in 1997, CEO has recognized innovators and leaders in entrepreneurship. Among the criteria for induction into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame are professional achievement, innovation and community service.
